Dan Perry (born Daniel Pereira) is a Portuguese singer-songwriter known for his soulful and captivating songs in English and Portuguese.

Born and raised in Portugal, he studied acting at the Conservatório de Música da Jobra.

After graduation, he moved to Lisbon, gaining acting experience in TV productions. In 2015, Perry relocated to Berlin to pursue his musical career, blending pop and rock with emotional ballads and upbeat tracks. His songs inspire people to stay true to themselves.

 

In 2019, he founded the pop-rock band Merely Minds. Two years later, he gained wider recognition through The Voice of Germany. Perry has performed at major events, including Classics unter Sternen and iconic venues like the one where Freddie Mercury celebrated his birthday.

In 2024, Perry explored new musical territory, forming a duo and infusing his compositions with 80s New Wave and synth sounds. His lyrics advocate equality, tolerance, and self-acceptance, with his motto "Be who you are" at the heart of his message.
